Creator walkthrough — list and sell your first title

Step 1 — Create your account

Go to app.indiestarlight.com/register. Check “I'm a creator” — that unlocks listing tools on your dashboard. Read and tick the Pilot Participation Agreement (you'll get a confirmation with your reference number). If a friend invited you, their referral code fills in automatically from the link.

Step 2 — Meet your dashboard

Everything lives here: your titles, sales and earnings, collaboration requests from curators, Audience Deeds, and storefront tools. The banner up top reminds you to verify your email — required before payouts, never for listing or selling.

Step 3 — List your first title

Pick what you're listing — a written work, a music single (WAV or MP3), or an audiobook. For books you can upload a PDF, EPUB, or DOCX and we extract the text for your review, or paste it directly. Set your price (minimum $1.00 — small items bundle in the fan's cart) and confirm you own the rights.

Step 4 — You're live

The title appears under “My titles” and in the public catalog immediately — no review queue. You can edit the price, run limited-time sales (minimum $2.00), or attach a free teaser sample any time.

Step 5 — What fans see

Your public title page: blurb, price, and ratings that only verified buyers who actually opened the work can post. Every copy delivered — free or paid — carries an invisible provenance mark tied to that buyer, which is how IndieStarlight backs its anti-piracy promise.

Step 6 — Prove your audience

Generate an Audience Deed any time: a cryptographically verifiable certificate of your real sales and readership that anyone can check — no self-reported numbers. Curators use these when deciding what to feature.

Step 7 — Never stuck

The Help page has FAQs, community tips, and volunteer guides — real people you can message directly about listing, the fee schedule, or getting paid.
